What Happens Next?
If you have submitted application forms through this site, through the City's night drop box, at the City of Merced Finance Department, or met with the program coordinator, your application is being processed.
Please allow time for processing. We are aware of the importance of this funding and are using available resources to process all applications. Unfortunately, we cannot provide information on the status of individual applications.
If your application was incomplete, if you live outside of the City of Merced, or if your income or employment status did not meet program eligibility guidelines, you will receive notification from the City of Merced.
Approved applications will receive a check from the City of Merced after July 1, 2022.

The City of Merced is offering $500 one-time payment to households.
To apply, you must live in the City of Merced, you need to have worked as an essential, frontline, hospitality, logistics, food service, or construction worker and meet the following monthly financial guidelines:
