Community Meeting Recap – Yosemite Avenue Roadway Construction Project

On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the City of Merced hosted a community meeting at Cruickshank Middle School Gym to provide details about the upcoming Yosemite Avenue Reconstruction Project. Residents and business owners attended to learn about the planned improvements, which include roadway upgrades, enhanced sewer infrastructure, improved traffic flow, and safer pedestrian access.

City staff presented the project timeline, discussed potential impacts such as detours and temporary closures, and answered questions from the public. Construction is set to begin on Monday, April 14, 2025, and will take place over several months.
